On June 29, 2018, two residents from Renaissance Park Multi Care Center in Fort Worth, Texas, took a trip to see a Texas Rangers baseball game.
Mildred Boese and Judy Moffat attended the game at Global Life Park in Arlington, Texas, along with several associates. Shonda Lusk, central supply director, provided the tickets for the group. The seats in the shade were perfect for the sunny summer’s day, and the residents and associates alike showed their team spirit by wearing Rangers shirts and hats.
“They had quite an enjoyable evening, from dancing with the mascot, Captain, to watching our Rangers beat the White Sox 11-3!” said LaYvonne Jones, activity director.
“I liked the atmosphere around me, the smell of the food around me and the people’s excitement,” said Moffat. “And I got my cotton candy!”
Boese added, “Being out with everybody and watching the game live was wonderful!”
